LED Lighting for Nigeria

Nigerian sites rarely have a supply they can rely on, so the lighting has to work with or without the grid. We ship all-in-one solar street lights, solar flood kits, high bays and panels sized for tropical heat and coastal humidity, through Lagos and Onne.

Why these models

Why these models suit this market

Works without the grid

All-in-one solar luminaires carry their own panel, LiFePO₄ battery and dusk-to-dawn controller — no cabling, no metering, no diesel.

Sized for tropical heat

Batteries and drivers are configured for 30-40 °C ambient, the condition that quietly shortens the life of a standard solar street light.

IP65 against rain and coastal air

Sealed optical chambers with tempered glass and anti-corrosion treatment for the humidity and salt of Lagos and Port Harcourt.

Up to 180 lm/W where power does exist

Where a supply is available, high bays and panels cut the lighting load — which matters most when that load is carried by a diesel generator.

Selection guide

How to specify for this market

1

Solar or grid-connected

Where supply exists, grid-connected street or area lights cost less per unit. Where it does not, all-in-one solar beats trenching and cabling — tell us the nightly hours and the overcast days.

2

Street, compound or interior

Access roads and residential streets take 30-60 W and 60-150 W; compounds and perimeters suit solar flood kits from 100 W. Interiors take high bays or panels by ceiling height.

3

Rainy season and dust

Ask for the sealed optical chamber and the anti-corrosion finish. Send the monthly rainfall pattern if the project runs through the rainy season and we size the autonomy on that basis.
